Guinea Racing and Fashion Evening at Ellenborough Park

First of all, thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who attended our Racing and Fashion Evening at the stunning Ellenborough Park on Thursday 27th February!

We couldn't have been more thrilled with how quickly the tickets sold out - as the proceeds were all in aid of the Injured Jockey's Fund, but don't worry if you were unable to make it, because read on to hear all about it, there are already plans in motion for another next year...

We raised £1000 for the Injured Jockeys Fund! Woohoo

Lilly Pinchin and friend

It began with a champagne and canape welcome

Your support was amazing and it was incredible some of you had travelled from as far as Yorkshire and Devon to support us at our first fundraiser for the Injured Jockeys Fund!

Hattie, the innovator and driving force of the event, was our fabulous compère, infusing the evening with her joyous and bubbly personality. After her welcome speech, she dived straight into a lively discussion with trainer Sam Thomas who talked about his career and gave us some top tips for the upcoming Cheltenham Festival!

Next, it was time for our fashion show, where our lovely models Kate and Tallini showcased our S/S25 coat collection and we were joined by the brands; Peachy Belts, Clare Haggas, Rebecca Jones Hats and Jonny Beardsall to compliment the looks.

A big shout-out to Bronte from Femme Country Magazine, for her top styling suggestions as Hattie gave a rundown of what features make our coats oh so flattering - which is why you love them so much and we have such a loyal customer base.

Then after a short break to mingle, buy more raffle tickets to support the Injured Jockey's Fund, and most importantly purchase what had caught your eye during the fashion show ... who doesn't love mixing a spot of socialising and shopping!!

But it didn't end there...

Our final speaker of the evening was Lilly Pinchin, with a fun and fabulous informal chat, who gave us an insightful glimpse into what it is like being a female jockey in a male dominated field, what drives her and closed with a light-hearted game of fashion do's and don'ts.

The raffle had some utterly fabulous prizes - including an amazing print by equestrian artist Elizabeth Armstong, an absolutely delightful lampshade by completely_lampshaded_byks, a hamper of Tropic skincare products kindly donated by Nadine Pinchin, a year's subscription to Femme Magazine, a clutch bag by Calibre Leather and some very generous vouchers from the brands and Ellenborough Park.

"The evening was so much fun, I love that we were able to browse before the talk and fashion show. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect" - S.H

We loved hearing how much you were enjoying yourselves on the night and were delighted when some of you so kindly got in touch to say that you were keen for us to do it again ... as I said before, we are working on it *wink*.

Last but not least, a big thank you to Philippa from Pink Elephant Photography for the photographs of the night, Emma and Evi who were our raffle ticket butterflies, another Emma from Guinea HQ who you may have spotted behind the scenes, and the entire Ellenborough Park team who looked after us so beautifully.
