Goodwood Revival Friday 8th - Sunday 10th September
One of our most favourite events to attend was always the Goodwood Revival - and we really do miss the fast cars and fabulous fashion! And we love that Goodwood is “The only historic motor race meeting to be staged entirely in a period theme, Goodwood Revival is an immersive celebration of iconic cars and fashion.”
And we love, love, love that they are also about sustainability as:
"Revive & Thrive is the modern community that drives Revival forward, inspiring us all with creative ways to rethink, repair and re-wear."
What to expect at Goodwood Revival
A wonderful array of sights and spectacles, from aviation to the main events of classic car racing. Live music, champagne bars, fabulous artisan food stalls, and the chance for a bit of celebrity spotting, the Goodwood Revival has it all.
The shopping is incredible with hundreds of exhibitors selling everything from lifestyle items, fashion and accessories through to cars themselves.
There are a variety of races throughout each day. Our favourite has got to be the Settrington Cup, which in the past has had the motor racing greats such as Stirling Moss and Murray Walker in the role of Starter. The mini drivers, usually between 6-9 years old, race Austin J40 pedal cars, modelled on the original cars that raced between 1949 – 1966…it’s jolly good fun to watch and may the fastest legs win and no tears before bedtime!

THINKING OF EXTENDING YOUR VISIT...
The beauty of the Goodwood Revival is that there are many accommodation options to suit every budget. With its location on the edge of the stunning South Downs, if the campsites are already full, you are still handy for Chichester, Arundel and Littlehampton.
Guinea London’s top picks are The Chichester Harbour Hotel & Spa which features a stunning and luxurious subterranean spa, and a superbly stylish seafood restaurant.
There is also Bailiffs Court Hotel in Climping West Sussex, where they do a fabulous afternoon tea and have access right onto Climping beach.
And finally...
We do hope that if you are fortunate enough to be attending the Goodwood Revival, that you have a fabulous time, and have a cheeky glass of champagne for us!
Toodle pip.
