How To Style Our Guinea Military Mayfair Jacket
Here at Guinea HQ we absolutely love our Mayfair Military Jacket. We feel it is a wardrobe must have, as it can be worn all year round, because it is, oh so fabulously versatile!
How versatile you ask?
Well we asked members of our Guinea team how they would style it for a weekend in Mayfair. We gave them a location/occasion for it to be worn, but other than that, they were free to style the jacket however they chose with no other stipulations.
As you will see, what was interesting, was that there were a couple of styling choices that appeared more than once, so rather than making our team choose a new item, and also in the spirit of sustainability, we decided to include these cross over pieces, showcasing what versatility a few key pieces in a capsule wardrobe can truly have.
Museum and Gallery Exhibition
For a day taking in a exhibition at either a museum or gallery, this styling of the Mayfair Military Jacket is smart but also effortlessly elegant - while still remaining casual.
It is perfectly suited for taking in magnificent works of art, followed by a spot of impromptu lunch, or shopping to round off the day.
This look also features another of our products, our bronze Camden trainer, (all of our featured Guinea products will be available to shop below) which we think teams rather well with the Honey and Toast leather tote bag.
More Mayfair Military Jacket Styling
This fun and flirty street style look, is perfect for lunch with the girls, for a ch glass of crisp, dry white and a catch up. The silk cami adds that touch of glam and the pop of pink prevents this look from becoming too pedestrian, after all street style is all about individuality and reflecting your personality.
Plus, who doesn't love a stylish flatform trainer?
This look is all about texture and showcasing the Mayfair military jacket. No one could claim that opting for a single base colour of clothing is safe, not when you are combining a velvet bandeau top, with leather trousers, patent high heels and a quilted clutch bag! Why not add a unexpected flash of colour with the signature red sole of a Louboutin?
This look is bold and confident, and certainly makes an impact.
How utterly fabulous this this date night outfit? This is a modern spin on demure and elegant, without being dowdy, and we absolutely love the simplicity of it.
Simple it may be, but boring it is not, as this is an outfit of contrasts.
The structure and form fitting cut of the jacket, contrasts with the soft free flowing nature of the tulle skirt.
While the contrasting colours, compliment each other without competing, overall creating an eye catching look.
Plus how cute are those Zara shoes?
Our final look is ultra glam!
This Georgia Hardinge Fossil Dress is an absolute show stopper. Now, ordinarily it would be a crime to cover such an astonishing dress, but sometimes needs must because of the weather, and our Mayfair military jacket would compliment it beautifully, as the short style of the jacket, allows the detailed construction of the dress to be hinted out, and even draw attention to it -while the deep navy of the jacket adds a warmth to the metallic fabric of the dress.
Talk about making an entrance!
We hope you enjoyed our Mayfair Military Jacket style looks as much as our Guinea team enjoyed creating them.
Stay stylish and #guineaglam
